Executive Director

Dear Friends

2024 is shaping up to be another exciting year! Having experienced tremendous growth in 2023, we are nearly fully staffed and serving with full capacity to meet the ever-increasing need to help families achieve family stability and economic self-sufficiency. We are wrapping up the strategic planning process and will launch our plan in late spring.

Our ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Wilkes-Barre location In March proved to be a great success, as we hosted local, regional and state legislators and our partners within the community.

We hope you will join us at our next ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate our Young Adult Center at the Scranton Seventh Avenue Center.

There will be many ways to support our work through events like the UNICO Golf Tournament and NEPA Gives. Plus, there are many opportunities to get involved in our programs, such as tutoring in our GED program, providing homework help at our Skyview Program, becoming a Pardon Project volunteer, and more!

We look forward to connecting with you this year as we continue to move families forward!

With hope and a plan,

Lori Chaffers, MSW
