Outreach – Center for Community Resources will host its annual Mighty Oak Awards honoring pillars in our community for their leadership and contributions on October 5, 2023 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic.
As we celebrate our 35th Anniversary , the 2023 Mighty Oak honoree is Dr. Ruth Connolly, former Development Director of Outreach.
The Beth Beh Community Spirit Award, will be presented this year to longtime Outreach board member Kate Holod and Outreach GED Instructor Bill Burnell. The award is to recognize decades of their service in volunteering for multiple local non-profit organizations.
The Mighty Oak Awards will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a basket raffle. Participant stories will set the stage for the awards event. Individuals can purchase tickets by visiting the Outreach website at outreachworks.org.
