2024 Children’s Issues in a Changing World Conference

The 2024 Children’s Issues in a Changing World Conference will be held on Friday, October 25th, at Keystone College in La Plume, PA. This year’s theme, “HOPE for the Future,” centers around the question, “What if the decisions we make today create the ultimate future for children?”

The event will feature panels with local agencies to open discussions on how best to serve today’s and tomorrow’s children and youth in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Break-out sessions will allow for more in-depth discussions between conference participants to voice their opinions and perspectives on challenging issues in the community.

The conference will recognize the 2024 Rise Above Achievement Award honorees. The honorees are local youth who, despite facing adversity in their lives, have risen to achieve their goals and create a brighter future.
