Outreach – Center for Community Resources Board of Directors, administration, staff, and most importantly, program participants, offer a sincere thank you to the PNC Foundation for supporting Outreach child-serving programs through their Grow Up Great grant funding program. PNC Bank and the PNC Foundation provide this vital support to the region that helps Outreach put Lackawanna County’s families and children first.

This grant funding allows Outreach to provide the Parents as Teachers program that provides caregivers with the tools for early healthy brain development of their children and critical skills development to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. The Outreach Parents as Teachers program is monitored by the National Parents as Teachers office and the state. The Parents as Teachers families also participate in the Toddler Play and Learn Group, which provides additional developmental activities through play for children from birth to five years.

Outreach shares PNC’s Grow Up Great priority of providing crucial early childhood development programs that serve families in the community. Outreach serves children birth through age five with early childhood development and parenting initiatives, including activities that focus on engaging children in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning activities. Outreach is honored to partner with PNC to improve our community: together, we support families. When individual families succeed, the community as a whole thrives.
